Currently, I am in the Bay Area in California working at

I got a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Mumbai University in June 2000.
I came to the US in August of 2000 to purse a Master's Degree in Computer Science at
WPI in Worcester, Massachusetts. I graduated in May 2002. By then,
I had started working as an Intern at NMS Communications, where I started
in April 2002. I had an extended intership at NMS, which lasted till December. After searching for 3 months for a job, I finally got
one at BEA and I moved to Seattle in April 2003. I worked at BEA for about 16 months,
before I landed my current job at Google. I moved to California in September 2004.
Like most true-blooded Indians, I live and breathe Cricket.
Even after coming to the US, I have hardly missed any major cricket series involving India. I must have spent a good $500 bucks in the
past 12 months or so, for watching Cricket. Next-up I am a big Formula-1 fanatic
and a supporter of BMW-Williams. I recently visited the
Indianapolis Speedway for the 2004 US Grand Prix. After having lived in the Boston
area for close to three years, I have also become a Red Sox fan.
I try to read as much as possible, mostly fiction. I have a small collection of books by John Grisham, Stephen King, Robin Cook. Nothing
too literary. I love sci-fi, especially by Arthur C. Clarke and Isaac Asimov. And yes I have the complete
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by
Douglas Adams.
